UITableViewSource.GetCell not called for custom cell
I have a cell with a checkbox inside it. When the cell is created, it gets displayed as expected. But if I go to edit mode, and then click outside of the cell, the getcell method is not being called for the cell (or at least I don't know if it is being called).

What can I do to allow the getcell method to get called when the cell is in edit mode?

You should use cellForRowAtIndexPath instead of:
- (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath {
//...
return cell;
}
If you do it, then call reloadData() or insertRowsAtIndexPaths or other methods in your tableView:editActionsForRowAtIndexPath: method.
But I think, the best way is to implement the UITableViewDelegate protocol methods.
